Valar Labs was founded at the intersection of AI and oncology, with a belief that pathology is an untapped modality in cancer care. We built our company around a vision of using AI and the rich information in pathology slides to help physicians and patients make the best possible decisions around cancer treatments.

Anirudh Joshi
Co-founder & CEO
Anirudh is a biomedical engineer and computer scientist trained at the interface of medical AI at Stanford and Georgia Tech. He has built medical technology across cardiology, neurology and oncology and production AI systems used by millions of users.

Viswesh Krishna
Co-founder & CTO
Viswesh has researched pathology x AI for 5+ years and studied CS AI at Stanford. He previously developed and deployed computer vision products for detecting eye disorders in India.

Trevor Royce, MD
Chief Medical Officer
Trevor is a physician researcher and leader in health technology with interests in oncology and informatics; he has experience in both academic and industry settings and maintains an active clinical practice.

Jason Sanford
VP Sales - Urology
Jason is a people leader and institutional strategist. He is a former ultrasound imager and surgical assistant who spent the last two decades building and leading commercial teams in the Urology space.
